We are officially started with Bees 'n Beans!

Mostly 'beans' right now, admittedly, but we have started. A large and rather over eager Bombus lapidarius queen did join me and Leila while we were potting up plants for other experiments this morning, but it was a little soon for it to be involved, other than flying at my head.

If you've had to start already, don't worry - you'll only be a little bit ahead and other plants will catch up. My beans are safely ensconced in their dish on the shelf, so should start sprouting soon - here they are:
